Cheering Against C.R. Native Ryan Sweeney

I usually cheer for Cedar Rapids. But not tonight.

I’m watching the Yankees play the Oakland A’s at new Yankee Stadium and Cedar Rapids native Ryan Sweeney is playing in right field for the A’s.

He’s playing in the spot where the Yankees have seen all those home runs in the first few games at the new stadium.

Let’s hope Sweeney gets to watch some go over his head tonight. Go Yanks! (UPDATE: Sweeney had a good view of Damon’s homer in the 6th.)
